The Full Story
Tremaine “Six7” Williams is a producer, engineer, and creative director whose two-decade career bridges R&B, pop, and global touring. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Tremaine began his musical journey as a classically trained vocalist in the Raleigh Boychoir and later as a drummer and pianist influenced by gospel and R&B. He honed his technical skills at Full Sail University, earning his Recording Arts degree in 2004 and was later inducted into the Full Sail University Hall of Fame for his outstanding career achievements.
After moving to Los Angeles, Tremaine’s career accelerated through intern work with Hidden Beach Recordings and later the legendary duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis at FlyteTyme Productions. Over the years, he’s contributed to five GRAMMY-nominated albums and earned credits with powerhouse artists including Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Chaka Khan, Usher, Jill Scott, Ledisi, and Janet Jackson. His engineering and production work has also been featured on major film and TV projects such as Empire, New Amsterdam, Sunday Best, and The Last Fall by Academy Award winner Matthew A. Cherry.
Elected to the Recording Academy’s Los Angeles Chapter Board of Governors, Tremaine served five years helping advocate for and mentor the next generation of creators. His touring experience includes years on the road with Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars, Tyler, the Creator, and Swedish House Mafia, shaping the sound and flow of live performances around the globe.
Today, Tremaine is the manager and creative director for Japanese pop icon Crystal Kay, leading her North American CK25 tour and global creative campaigns, while also developing his own lo-fi artist project, LoMaine — a blend of soulful nostalgia and cinematic chill-hop aesthetics.
With an ear for emotion, an eye for design, and a 360° understanding of how art moves culture, Tremaine “Six7” Williams continues to evolve as one of music’s most versatile and visionary creatives.
